XEROSTAR DENTAL EQUIPMENT

Features of the XeroStar system

Designed by a Dentist
Tested for over 10 years.  Minimal maintenance required. Simply dose with XeroJet enzyme liquid twice daily and replace the filter as  required.

Reduce Messy Cleaning
The filter can be disposed of completely or simply emptied, rinsed and replaced. The low cost of filter replacement makes this system ideal for people who want to reduce messy cleaning jobs to a minimum.

Power
The vacuum power of this system will amaze you!
The instantaneous full power is unlike other systems that are slow to get started. You may decide that it's too strong, but don't worry, the power can be reduced to suit your requirements simply by adjusting the air by-pass valve.

No Technicians Required
Independence from service personnel and reliability -  XeroStar is the answer!

Save Water
Save on water - No water connection is required. Harness the suction power of any household vacuum cleaner!  Experience has shown that a new vacuum cleaner will last for years in everyday service. Our first one stopped when the carbon brushes were worn out after more than 2 years!
The carbon brushes were replaced and it's still going strong!

If the vacuum cleaner stops - simply replace it with the one in your cleaning cupboard!  Changeover takes only a few minutes!

Economics
This means no costly downtime, no loss of productivity, no waiting for the serviceman and no costly repair bills! The customer need only supply a vacuum cleaner of his choice.  The considerations in choosing a particular make & model of vacuum cleaner are discussed in the instruction booklet that is supplied with the XeroStar.  (see also FAQ's ) The XeroStar comes complete with all materials needed for the installation.

Where do I install it?
The standard separator is usually fixed to an outer wall close to the surgery or in a utility room. The medium or mini separator are best installed inside a surgery cupboard or in a utility room.

A plumbing waste outlet and an electrical power socket are all that is required. A 25mm hose is provided to connect the chairside filter unit to the separator unit.

The complete system comprises the separator unit including the electronic control module, the chairside filter unit, the handpiece and cradle together with all hoses and fittings required for installation.

Any common barrel type vacuum cleaner can be used, although we recommend one with an exhaust connection so that the exhaust air can be directed outdoors or through a filter.

The components of the XeroStar system are designed for easy installation and will complement any existing dental equipment.

Can I connect to more than one surgery?
Yes, there are no restrictions here - you can have all surgeries operating with one motor/separator and fully independent switch-on and shut-off for each surgery.

If you want a 100% bullet proof system then we recomend an independent motor/separator for each surgery - it's up to you.
So for example, while one system is being serviced, you can continue to operate using the other system without inconvenience or loss of productivity.

In any case by using the XeroStar system we guarantee your downtime will be close to zero.

This valve allows the connection of two or more surgeries to one separator with fully independent controls in each surgery.
