Theold method of cleaning

 Oldfashioned cleaners attempt to disinfect the suction system by using toxicchemicals to kill bacteria.  These chemicals prevent the natural processof bio-degradation. This results in clogged hoses and breakdowns due tobuild-up of detritus. Unpleasant odour problems occur. The toxic chemicalsare eventually discharged and continue to poison the environment.

Howis it Made?

XeroJetliquidis produced by the controlled fermentation of cane sugar by yeast in amedia buffered by nutrient salts. 

Howdoes it work?

Nontoxic and bio-degradable, XeroJetactsas a descaler and deodouriser. 
Descalingoccurs because of the dissolving and chelating properties of the organicacids and alcohols. 
Deodourisingoccurs because the organic acids, vitamins and trace elements stimulatethe growth and metabolism of endogenous aerobic micro flora.  Thesebacteria proliferate and produce enzymes which break down odour formingorganic detritus. 
Thenitrogen compounds in the detritus are broken down and the resulting ammoniais removed by the process of denitrification, forming nitrogen gas. Theorganic compounds are broken down to form carbon dioxide and water.

To appreciate how effectivelyXeroJet works, please stop using your normal cleaner, particularly if itcontains antiseptics or other toxins, as these will neutralise the actionof XeroJet. If antiseptics or other toxic substances have been used recently,it may take some time before XeroJet begins to work properly. 

At the end of the first dayflush the system with water, then slowly aspirate 100ml of the XeroJetconcentrate into the system and leave it overnight. 

Don't worry about addingtoo much, it can't harm the system. 

From then on, routinely flushthe system with water at the end of each day and then slowly aspirate 20mIof XeroJet into the system. 

If you flush the suctionsystem with water more often - then always use XeroJet afterwards. Theconcentrate will remain in the system where it will have most effect. 

An ongoing treatment of 20mlconcentrate is recommended after each morning, afternoon or evening session. A little more is recommended before a weekend.
Use Xerojet in the cuspidoras well, to eliminate odour. 

More frequent use will bebeneficial until the bio-systern is established.  An extra treatmentis recommended after surgical work where quantities of blood are aspirated. The natural enzymes in XeroJet break down organic matter and  stimulatethe activity of bacteria, dissolving the build-up of detritus in the suctionhoses.  The need for physical cleaning of the vacuum system is thereforegreatly reduced. 

Salt water (or Ringer’s Solution)is ideal for flushing after surgical operations
as blood is likely to coagulateand block the system.
XeroJet will eliminate allodour problems with your suction system. 

Note: Exhaust fans operatingin the building, can allow foul air to flow back into the operating areawhen the suction is not in operation. This will only happen if your systemhas no back-flow prevention.  The problem of back flow can also occurwhen the outside wind conditions cause a vacuum effect within the building.i.e. under certain wind directions and building design.

Note: XeroJet will be mosteffective in cleaning and maintaining a system that is physically cleanto begin with.  It will keep the system free of detritus build-up,however the design of some systems tend to encourage blockages no matterwhat cleaner is used.  A design that has smooth internal surfacesallowing fast-flowing air, free of bends will naturally require less maintenance. If your suction system continues to give problems, then we suggest youconsider the advantages of the XeroStar suction system 
which has been designedfor optimum performance.
